Born and raised in Millington, Tennessee, George Odum didn't take the traditional path. No Power 5 offers. No draft day call. Just relentless work at Central Arkansas — where he finished with 350 career tackles, became Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and earned FCS All-American honors.
When the 2018 NFL Draft came and went without his name called, most would have packed it in. George saw it differently — it was proof the league wasn't ready for him yet. He signed with Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent and made the 53-man roster out of training camp.
What followed was one of the great underdog stories in modern NFL history.
